A complete interior and exterior remodel built on the home's existing footprint, with a focus on transforming the outdoor experience. The project excavated the backyard to create level entertaining space, added a rooftop deck above the new living space, and built an eco-friendly green roof over the patio. Spa-like bathrooms with custom tile, cabinetry, and fixtures rounded out the interior work.
The clients wanted to turn an urban lot into a true urban oasis — a home with multiple distinct outdoor entertaining zones, sustainable design touches, and bathrooms that felt like genuine retreats. They wanted the property to feel larger and more luxurious without changing the footprint of the home itself.
We completed a full interior and exterior remodel on the existing footprint. The major outdoor work involved excavating the backyard to create one-level entertaining spaces — opening up the rear of the property in a way that simply wasn't possible before. We added a rooftop deck on top of the new living space and engineered the flat roof over the patio to support a green roof, adding both ecological value and a unique design feature. The bathrooms were rebuilt as spa-like retreats with custom tile, cabinetry, and fixtures.
